We are living in a physical world. All the buildings were originated from something that already existed. New buildings can be interpreted historically while historic buildings cannot be understood independently. The contrast, analogy and relevancy between both of them can be material for new construction. With the overlay of the historic layers, some potential new relationship between them can be revealed and new experiences will be created.
